They will watch all of the games together on Saturday, and will then stay up as late as they need to and meet again Sunday morning to determine their final ranking of the season. This is it!

The NHLPA officially notified the NHL on Friday that it had rejected the league's verbal offer to extend the CBA three years in exchange for an international package that included Olympic participation. This offer as we said from the get-go never had a chance. Players want to play in the Olympics of course but they also hate the escrow payments in the current CBA. So now what in terms of Olympic participation in South Korea 2018? NHL owners meet next week for the Board of Governors meeting in South Florida where it will be on the agenda. All sides need a decision by late January at latest.
