In addition to an injury to WR Danny Amendola (ankle), the Patriots also lost CB Eric Rowe (hamstring) in the second half of Sunday's game against the Rams. Rowe's return was announced as questionable, but he hasn't returned, with rookie Cyrus Jones replacing him. Rowe is the team's starter opposite Malcolm Butler.

So much for bend but don't break. The Saints defense just collapsed on a 66-yard TD pass from Matthew Stafford to Golden Tate on third-and-10 for a 25-13 Lions lead. Tate broke wide open. Saints CB B.W. Webb was the closest defender but it's unclear what led to such a big breakdown.

That's Jordy Nelson's 10th touchdown of the season, marking the third time in his career he's hit double digits for the season. Don Hutson also did it three times and Sterling Sharpe did it four times for the Packers.

Devonta Freeman is so quick at the point of attack. Inside zone scheme on the TD run. He can shake defenders in the hole. In the fourth quarter, Chiefs still hold a 27-22 lead over the Falcons.

Saints score a TD to get within 19-13 against Lions -- but they burned a timeout and ran out of replay challenges when they believed WR Brandin Cooks scored instead of being tackled at the 1-yard line. Cooks' knee was never down, but part of his arm may have been down as he was regaining his balance.

Patriots WR Danny Amendola has headed to the locker room after coming up limping following a fourth-down play in which he was fielding a punt. He hopped off the field, not wanting to put pressure on one leg, and then did something similar en route to the locker room. Amendola has been playing a key role in the team's offensive plan without TE Rob Gronkowski, which has featured more 4-WR packages.

Tiger Woods won't be happy with his final round at the Hero World Challenge (76) but he can't be upset when looking at the big picture in his return to competitive golf after 15 months. There was far more good than bad, with surprising power and length with all of his clubs. Woods made 24 birdies for the week out of 72 holes, but played the par-5s in just 4 under par. He also made 6 double bogeys for the week. There are plenty of positives, and yet plenty of room for improvement, too.
