Bills open up this one with a 67-yard touchdown from Tyrod Taylor to Marquise Goodwin. Second time this season Goodwin, a former Olympic track athlete, has burned a defense deep. Some breathing room for Buffalo.

Elias reports that Kevin Hogan's 28-yard TD run was the longest by a quarterback in Browns team history. Hogan's running should not be a total surprise. He ran for 1,249 yards in four seasons at Stanford, and averaged just short of four yards per carry. Hogan's running was the main reason he ranked third in Total QBR among college quarterbacks in 2015.

Bills OLB Lorenzo Alexander just recorded his NFL-leading 9th sack. The 11th-year veteran had 9 sacks entering this season. He's the first player since Jared Allen in 2011 to start a season on a seven-game sack streak.

Full uniform, and the logo haircut. Now that's dedication.

LeSean McCoy now has 8 carries for 11 yards. His 1.4 yard average would be his third-worst career game.

With 9:47 left in the third quarter, the Browns have given up 132 yards rushing to Jeremy Hill and 106 yards receiving to A.J. Green. Andy Dalton also has 232 yards passing.

Jeremy Hill is dancing again. He darted through a hole opened by LT Andrew Whitworth on the right side of the field for a 74-yard touchdown run. Bengals are leading 28-17 and hill has 132 rushing yards.

Redskins corner Josh Norman is being evaluated for a concussion. He's questionable to return.

Rookie Kevin Hogan channeled Steve Young on that 28-yard touchdown run. Evaded tackles, never quit and scored as he was being tackled. Browns in the game, down 21-17.

Jets QB Geno Smith (knee) has been officially declared out. What an unbelievably bad break for Smith, who waited more than a year to get another shot. The game belongs to Ryan Fitzpatrick. In case you're wondering, the emergency QB is RB Bilal Powell.

Katherine Terrell ESPN Staff Writer

Bengals haven't figured out how to stop QB Kevin Hogan's feet. He's rushed for 72 yards on five attempts, including a 28 yard TD. Hogan is averaging 14.4 yards-per-carry with Cody Kessler out with a concussion. Bengals lead 21-17

Mike Rodak ESPN Staff Writer

Jay Ajayi just topped 100 yards rushing. He has 8.3 yard average today against the Bills, but Dolphins don't have the points to show for it.

ESPN Stats and Information

The Elias Sports Bureau notes that the Browns are the first team to have at least 6 players throw at least 1 pass within the first 7 games of a non-strike season since the 1976 Buccaneers (who went 0-14 in their inaugural season).

Mike Rodak ESPN Staff Writer

LeSean McCoy has 13 yards on 7 carries, a 1.9 yard average. Would be his worst average since Week 3 last season, when he had 16 yards on 11 carries in Miami. He was also playing on a hurt hamstring that day and missed the next two games.

Carson Wentz vs. Sam Bradford turned into a turnover-filled, defensively dominated slugfest. The Eagles head into halftime with an 11-3 lead on the strength of a 98-yard Josh Huff kick return TD.

ESPN Stats and Information

Per the Elias Sports Bureau, the Vikings-Eagles game was the first to feature 5 turnovers in the first 10 minutes since Dec. 21, 1986 (a game between the Cowboys and Bears).

49ers QB Colin Kaepernick gets a warm welcome back home before his first start of the season at Levi's Stadium. He's signing autographs for fans on both sides of the home tunnel.

Raiders WR Michael Crabtree did a great job selling the release on the TD pass from Derek Carr. With Crabtree stemming outside off the release, he created leverage back to the ball on the slant route. That's an excellent set-up move to get points. The Raiders push the lead to 20-6 over the Jags at the half.

Kevin Seifert NFL Nation

It looked like Michael Crabtree realized that throat-slash gestures are against NFL rules just as he started doing it. He put his hand at his neck and then pulled it down. From a technical standpoint, he deserved the penalty. But in reality, it was a "throat" not a "throat slash" gesture.

ESPN Stats and Information

Kevin Hogan is the 6th Browns player to attempt a pass this season. No other NFL team had more than 3 players attempt a pass this season.

Mike DiRocco ESPN Staff Writer

The Jaguars' offense continues to be a mess. They've managed just six points and 152 yards against one of the worst defenses in the NFL and trail Oakland 20-6 at the half. The Raiders are last in the NFL in total defense (444.8 ypg) and pass defense (312.7 ypg). It's clear that there is something wrong with QB Blake Bortles. He has just five completions and threw another end zone interception. The only time the offense looked functional was when they went to hurry-up but it bogged down in the red zone.

Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Matt Kenseth (20), Carl Edwards (19) and Kyle Busch (18) dropped to the rear of the field at the start of the Chase elimination race at Talladega. They hope to avoid any big wrecks and be in position to advance to the next round. All those three drivers need is a top-20 finish today to advance.

Poll watching: No. 2 Michigan achieved its highest ranking in the AP Poll since the 2006 season. No. 4 Washington has its highest ranking since 2000. No. 7. Nebraska is at its highest rank in the poll since 2010. West Virginia is ranked in the top 10 for the first time since 2012. Penn State is ranked No. 24 for the first time since 2011.

Daniel Sorensen caught Kansas City's eye because of his special team skills as an undrafted rookie in 2014. But he's developing into a reliable defender and he's been one of the Chiefs' best players today as they lead the Saints 21-7 at halftime. The Chiefs are comfortable using Sorensen as a spare safety in passing situations because of his instincts and ball skills. He has a touchdown on a 48-yard interception return, a sack of Drew Brees and an open field tackle that forced a New Orleans punt.

Ben Goessling ESPN Staff Writer

All three Vikings turnovers have been attributable to their protection issues. They've tried moving Jake Long, T.J. Clemmings and Jeremiah Sirles around at tackle today, but they haven't been able to create a clean pocket for Sam Bradford, who's fumbled twice and thrown an interception when he was hit.
