The injured Danny Salazar will be on the Indians' World Series roster, the team's pitching coach, Mickey Callaway just told me. Salazar will be available for a variety of roles from starting to relief, but will only able to throw 60-70 pitches.

Here at media day, we have an indication that Trevor Bauer will start Game 2 of the World Series. He is throwing his first bullpen since bleeding off the mound of Game 3 of the ALCS. Why is his bullpen significant? This would be his normal day to throw if he were to start Wednesday's Game 2. If he gets through it OK, it would seem Game 2 would be Bauer's.

There is no update on a timetable for UCLA QB Josh Rosen's return. Coach Jim Mora said he is dealing with a nerve issue in his right shoulder. He has missed the past two games since being injured against Arizona State.

"I've already talked to the league and it's illegal to comment on officiating." – Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said he's already spoken with the league about the circumstances surrounding the blocked field goal in the second quarter of Sunday night's 6-6 tie, when Seattle LB Bobby Wagner leaped over LS Aaron Brewer to block K Chandler Catanzaro's 39-yard field goal attempt. Arians thought Wagner had touched Brewer, which would've been a penalty. After Sunday night's game, Arians said he was expecting to get an explanation from the NFL about the play "that is all bulls---."
