Why is ESPN's FPI not totally buying into the Baltimore Ravens (3-0)? One reason: They have played the fifth-easiest schedule in the NFL, according to FPI SOS rankings. Even an average NFL team would be expected to win about two games against that schedule.

Nice to see Pittsburgh and West Virginia renewing the Backyard Brawl. Last time the two programs played was in 2012. They will start a four-game series in Pittsburgh in 2017. Nice job by Bob Huggins and Kevin Stallings – and good for college hoops (which needs more quality non-conference games).

Saints rookie CB De'Vante Harris on his costly special teams blunder last week: "Yeah, it's hard to watch. But at the same time, you want it to motivate you. You want to be able to look at that play and never want to feel that feeling again." Harris crashed into punt returner Tommylee Lewis in the first quarter against the Falcons, then compounded the problem by trying to scoop up the ball and fumbled it away.

Wake Forest's Dave Clawson on the team's 4-0 start: "We've found different ways to win. I like that. We've come from behind twice, we played two games with the lead, there was a game we won by seven points and a game we had to score 33 points to win. We've had three games that have come down to the fourth quarter."
