Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski made his 53rd career field goal of at least 50 yards. That breaks a tie with Jason Hanson for the most such field goals in NFL history. Fifty-plus yard field goal have been challenging for kickers early this season. They entered the week 11-of-24 on such kicks.

After smothering Carson Palmer and holding the Cardinals to 2 net yards and no first downs on their first five possessions, the Bills allowed a 17-play touchdown drive to Arizona to cut Buffalo's lead to 17-7 at halftime. The Bills' offense is heating up behind 79 yards rushing from LeSean McCoy and new OC Anthony Lynn will need to keep his foot on the gas in the second half. An upset is brewing at New Era Field.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian connected with Emmanuel Sanders for another TD pass on the quick out route in the red zone. With the Bengals playing off-man coverage inside, Sanders got a free release to stem up the field and then accelerate out of his break. Nice ball from Siemian to give the Broncos a 16-14 lead at the half.

The Panthers dominated the first half statistically, holding a 205 to 34 edge in total yards, But they led the Vikings only 10-8 because they gave up a safety, 54-yard punt return for a touchdown and committed seven penalties for 40 yards. One of the penalties brought back a long touchdown catch by running back Fozzy Whittaker. It was the same kind of sloppiness that kept San Francisco close into the fourth quarter a week ago.

The Browns opened as 10-point underdogs in Miami, but they left the field at halftime with a 13-10 lead. Terrelle Pryor's receiving (four catches, 62 yards) and his play running the read-option from quarterback helped the offense. The Dolphins left the field to a smattering of boos, as Ryan Tannehill was intercepted twice.

ESPN Stats and Information

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers threw 4 touchdown passes in the first half on Sunday. He threw only 3 in the first 2 games of the season. His career high for touchdown passes in a game is 6 against the Texans in 2012 and the Bears in 2014. He's the first QB to throw 4 TD passes in the opening half of a game this season.

Referee Tony Corrente calls out Nissan Stadium clock operator for failure on final play of first-half. Reggie Nelson picked off a ball that bounced off receiver Rishard Matthews, then went out of bounds after a 12-yard return. Teams headed to locker room with clock expired. Teams were called back and 3 seconds were added. Review showed clock started late and said half was over with Raiders up 17-3.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco ended first half by completing team record 17 passes in a row. Justin Tucker hit two field goals from 43 and 42 yards as Baltimore leads, 13-7, in Jacksonville.

Safety DeAngelo Hall is ruled out with a right knee sprain. He's the second defensive back to be out for the game because of an injury, joining corner Bashaud Breeland. Hall was walking around on the sidelines testing his knee, but clearly didn't feel right.

Terrelle Pryor in the first half: 26 passing yards, 14 rushing yards, 62 receiving yards...and 1 snap at safety.

49ers QB Colin Kaepernick signed autographs and posed for pictures for about 20 minutes after warming up for today's game against the Seattle Seahawks. One Seahawks fan yelled to Kaepernick "we're all in this with you."

Joe Flacco has set a new Ravens record for consecutive passes completed. He has connected on 16 straight, which breaks record of 14 (which he set in 2009).

Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson now has surpassed 8,000 career receiving yards, becoming the ninth active receiver to do so. Jackson eclipsed that total on his 44-yard touchdown reception.

NFL

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

There's no need to review this statement: DeSean Jackson remains a big-time playmaker. And the touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins is a reminder that you can throw to him even if the coverage is tight. He does such a good job tracking the ball, in part because of his baseball playing days of his youth.

Allen Robinson fantasy owners have to like the targets today. Robinson is up to nine targets already in the first half and just caught a TD pass in the red zone off the boot action. Would like to see more explosive plays for Robinson (5 receptions, 39 yards, 1 TD), but the Jags are making him a focus of the game plan.

NFL

Mike DiRocco ESPN Staff Writer

I get the feeling that Allen Robinson purged a lot of frustration when he threw that ball into the stands after that TD catch. First time he's caught a TD pass this season.

Ty Montgomery's heads-up play to get a Lions kickoff return ruled out of bounds is clearly taught within the Packers' program. Randall Cobb did the same thing during a game in 2012. The play takes advantage of an NFL rule that says "a ball that is in player possession is out of bounds when the runner is out of bounds."

Tristan H. Cockcroft ESPN Senior Writer

Sterling Shepard is the first wide receiver to manage double-digit fantasy points in his first three career games since Martavis Bryant (2014, Weeks 7-9), and he's only the seventh wide receiver to do it since 1950. The other six: Bryant, Percy Harvin, Billy Howton, Glen Kozlowski, Louis Lipps, Bobby Mitchell and Donte' Stallworth.

Sebastian Janikowski just kicked his way into the NFL record books...again. Janikowski's 52-yard field goal to give the Raiders a 10-3 lead with 8:13 remaining in the second quarter was his record 53rd career FG of at least 50 yards, breaking a tie with Jason Hanson. This is Janikowski's 17th NFL season after being Oakland's first-round draft pick in 2000.
