Steve Kerr said that the Durant lob to Westbrook "broke the ice" and that sometimes the game does "break the ice." Kerr says he did not realize he did not play Durant and Westbrook together in the second half. Kerr says Kawhi Leonard told him at halftime he didn't want to play anymore and that DeMarcus Cousins told him he was "beat up" prior to the game which is why Cousins barely played.

Last 5 minutes of the all star game should be a blast as Westbrook and Anthony Davis vie for MVP honors at a record scoring clip. Davis has already broken Wilt Chamberlain's all time scoring mark and is at 52 and counting. Interestingly, Steve Kerr has paved the way for Davis to take MVP honors by benching Westbrook who has scored 4- on 26 shots.
