Mets rightfielder Jay Bruce went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts on Friday night, so on Saturday he was out of the starting lineup. Bruce is hitting .160 with two home runs in 81 at-bats since his acquisition from the Reds. "He's gotten off to a slow start," said Mets manager Terry Collins. "He knows it, we know it. It's all about battling through it. I told him to relax a little bit, get something good to hit and put a good swing on it."

Dodgers rookie Corey Seager now has the most home runs for a shortstop in Dodgers history. He hit his 23rd in the first inning Saturday against the Cubs.

Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter said that the offense can go no-huddle all game. They have the stamina. The key is sustaining the drive and not going three-and-out. Koetter also said they went three-wide, no huddle to keep Cleveland out of their 3-4.

Mets manager Terry Collins said the team had no sense of when Justin Ruggiano would be able to return from his left shoulder injury, so on Saturday they had infielder T.J. Rivera take fly balls in the outfield to prepare for a potential role there. Collins said the Mets don't expect to see a left-handed starter for another week, which would give Rivera some time to prepare. Rivera has played eight career minor league games in the outfield, all in left field.

Infielder T.J. Rivera's stay in Las Vegas was a very, very short one. Rivera was recalled after outfielder Justin Ruggiano was placed on the disabled list with a shoulder injury that he reaggravated on Friday. Rivera is hitting .314 in 11 games with the Mets. He was demoted on Friday when Neil Walker returned from paternity leave. Ruggiano was hitting .333 with two home runs and seven RBIs in eight games.

Bills tight end Chris Gragg is out for the season, he announced Saturday afternoon on Instagram. Gragg suffered a left knee injury in last night's preseason loss to the Redskins. The fourth-year tight end wasn't a major contributor but had a strong chance for a 53-man roster spot. Buffalo could turn to Blake Annen or Nick O'Leary in his place.

The NFL fans that will pay the most this year to see their teams are the Cowboys and 49ers. Think about that.

From 2012-15, Dez Bryant averaged .239 fantasy points per snap when Tony Romo was his quarterback, compared to .144 when Romo was on the sidelines. For a player who usually plays 50-55 snaps per game, that's roughly a five fantasy point difference per contest.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has suffered a compression fracture of his L1 vertebrae, according to a source. While Jason Garrett wouldn't put a timeline on Romo's return, he is looking at 6-10 weeks to recover.
