Andrew Luck had his 14th career game-winning drive, tied for the 4th-most in the NFL since he entered the league in 2012. Luck had his 2nd game with at least 300 passing yards this season, matching his total from last season.

ESPN Stats and Information

Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 140 yards in the Cowboys' win over the Bears on Sunday night. Elliott totaled 134 rushing yards in his first 2 games combined. His 274 rushing yards through the first 3 games are second-most by a Cowboys player. Calvin Hill's 299 are the most.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott played like a Top 5 pick tonight. Power, vision and speed through the hole. Elliott finished with 140 yards rushing on 30 carries and he also added 20 yards receiving. I thought Elliott hit the hole with much more acceleration than I saw on film in the first two weeks of the season. He showcased the ability to bounce the ball outside and find cutback lanes. He's a great fit for the Cowboys zone running schemes. Impressive night for the rookie in the Cowboys 31-17 win over the Bears.

The Dallas Cowboys have their first home win in more than a year. Thanks to three rushing touchdowns, a cool Dak Prescott and an impressive Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys beat the Chicago Bears, 31-17, to end an eight-losing streak at AT&T Stadium. Prescott has gone 99 passes without an interception and Elliott picked up the first 100-yard game of his career. The Cowboys are staring at 3-1 start with trip to San Francisco next week.

Cubs win their 99th game with a 3-1 victory over St. Louis giving them 7 tries to win No. 100 for the first time since 1935. Jon Lester improved to 19-4 pitching his league leading 24th game giving up fewer than 3 runs. He gave up zero in 6.2 innings.

The Cardinals lost a hard-fought 3-1 game to the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field Sunday night to slip further back in the wild-card race. They trail the New York Mets by 1 1/2 games and the San Francisco Giants by a half-game with seven games remaining, all at home. Many of the Cardinals key hitters have slumped all month.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

Bears TE Zach Miller up to 78 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions (nine targets). Fantasy owners getting some late night production here.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

Dak Prescott threw his first career TD pass on the slant route to Dez Bryant. But the play started with Bryant's release. He put in some work with the quick outside move to set up Bears CB Tracy Porter. That was pretty smooth. Bryant turned Porter around on that one. Cowboys up 31-10 in the fourth quarter.

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer

Bears running back Jeremy Langford suffered an ankle injury and rode on a cart back to the locker room. The team says Langford's return is questionable. Rookie Jordan Howard has replaced Langford as the Bears' feature back.

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

Some nervous energy inside AT&T Stadium as the Cowboys carry a 24-10 lead into the fourth quarter over Chicago.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

Bears get on the board in the second half with Brian Hoyer's 4th down TD pass to TE Zach Miller. An option route with Miller creating separation vs. Cowboys safety Byron Jones. Release up the field, collision the safety (which won't be called) and break outside. It's now 24-10 Cowboys in the third quarter.

The next time I walk in here, Vin Scully won't be calling games. Not sure I've come to grips with that yet.

Jon Lester made another strong statement for the Cy Young award as he threw 6.2 scoreless innings against the Cardinals giving up just 3 hits and one walk while striking out 7. He lowered his ERA to 2.28 and needs to pitch just 2.1 innings in his final start to reach the coveted 200 innings; a key stat for his own self evaluation.

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer

Bears safety Harold Jones-Quartey is out for the rest of the game with a concussion. Rookie DL Jonathan Bullard is questionable to return with a foot injury.

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

As the second half begins Dez Bryant is riding the stationary bike while catching passes from punter Chris Jones. That's one way to stay active.

Alshon Jeffery fantasy owners have to hope for the Bears to take some shots during the second half. Jeffery has only one catch for 22 yards (on one target). With Chicago down 24-3, it's time for Brian Hoyer test the top of the secondary. The Bears need to generate some explosive plays in this one.

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

Without their Pro Bowl left tackle Tyron Smith, the Cowboys are having no problem running the ball against Chicago. Ezekiel Elliott is the only Cowboys tailback without a touchdown but the rookie has 76 yards on 13 carries. Dak Prescott, Lance Dunbar and Alfred Morris have the Cowboys' touchdowns, giving them seven rushing scores in 10 quarters on the season. The Cowboys had eight all of last season. They lead, 24-3, at halftime.

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer

Bears are evaluating safety Harold Jones-Quartey for a concussion.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

The Cowboys offensive line is putting on a clinic up front. Can run inside zone all night. Lot of daylight there for RBs Ezekiel Elliott and Alfred Morris. Cowboys up 24-3 late in the second quarter after Morris' touchdown run.
