Carmelo Anthony was pretty annoyed by questions about Phil Jackson saying he holds on to the ball too much. He didn't want to answer the questions. He said he didn't know what Phil said, but I'm guessing he did. "Whatever Phil said, he said. I have nothing to say about that."

LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony have played each other 33 times including the regular season and playoffs. LeBron tries water bottle challenge during game

Their team had a commanding lead over the Knicks, so LeBron James and Kyrie Irving had some fun on the Cavs bench by attempting the water bottle challenge. It didn't go well.

Cavs 126, Knicks 94: if this was a measuring stick game for the Knicks, they came up woefully short. With Derrick Rose out, the Knicks offense was stagnant and they had no answer for LeBron James (25 points) or Kyrie Irving (28). New York, which had won 9 of 12 coming into tonight, had very little energy in the second night of a back-to-back. Carmelo Anthony was particularly lethargic, finishing with eight points on four shots.

We've got five more minutes of garbage time to play in Knicks-Cavs, so here's a stat: Carmelo Anthony finished with eight points tonight. The last time he scored 8 points was in a January 2011 game against the Hornets.
