Bears

NFL

Bears address tight end depth with Ashland's Adam Shaheen at No. 45 overall. Chicago did sign Dion Sims in free agency, and still have veteran Zach Miller under contract, but the club felt thin at the position last year after trading Martellus Bennett to NE. Shaheen is 6-foot-6, 278 pounds, but was an accomplished pass catcher in college. He'll make things interesting for Mike Glennon/Mitchell Trubisky in the passing game with the mismatches he can create. But he could be another project, and the Bears already have tons of those.
