Saints doing scout-team work today to prepare for Steelers on Friday night. The last two preseason games, they got to practice against their actual opponents for two days in New England and Houston. This game should most closely resemble a real game, which is typical for Week 3 of the preseason. And it's a great opponent to truly test their defense. Steelers offense is about as diverse and potent as any in the NFL.

49ers coach Chip Kelly says team hasn't yet discussed how quarterback reps will be divvied up on Friday night against Green Bay. But he also said Colin Kaepernick has been full go in practice the past two days and splitting reps evenly with Blaine Gabbert as he did before he began dealing with shoulder tightness. Kelly said Kaepernick "has been sharp on all things mentally" this week and is on track to play on Friday.
