The Kings are playing Hack-a-Noah and it's worked. Joakim Noah has missed all four of his free throws, giving Sacramento a chance to eat into a 5-point lead. Fortunately for the Knicks and Noah, the Kings have come up empty on both trips, one of which ended with a Kristaps Porzingis block.

Seahawks safety Earl Thomas is questionable to return after suffering a lower leg injury with 10:40 left in the second quarter. Thomas collided with teammate Kam Chancellor on the play. He was carried off the field by members of the Seahawks' medical staff and later carted off.

Russell Westbrook finishes with 28 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists (and 10 turnovers, but who's counting, except the scorekeeper, apparently) as the Thunder pick up their fifth straight win, 101-92, over the Pelicans. Not coincidentally, Westbrook has triple-doubled in five straight games.

We're not even at halftime in this game and Thomas Rawls has already matched his second-best single-game fantasy point total (22, also 2015 Week 5).

Teammates have been adamant that LB K.J. Wright deserves to make his first Pro Bowl this year. He had the forced fumble there, the Seahawks' second takeaway on four defensive possessions.

Russell Westbrook records his 10th assist against the Pelicans, giving him a fifth straight triple-double, the most in the NBA since Michael Jordan had seven in a row in 1989.

Rose's slick moves fake out Cousins

Derrick Rose slides into the lane and then puts on a pump fake that gets DeMarcus Cousins in the air, allowing Rose to score the basket.

Good cut/vision from Thomas Rawls on the split-zone scheme for the Seahawks TD. Zone blocking to the front side with the F/H-Back coming across the formation to kick-out the edge defender. That created a natural cut-back lane for Rawls to push the ball up the field into the end zone. Seahawks lead 10-0 over the Panthers in the first quarter.

Sheil Kapadia ESPN Writer

Thomas Rawls' touchdown marked the first time the Seahawks' offense has reached the end zone in its last 17 drives. Pete Carroll insisted after last week's loss to the Bucs that the offensive performance was a hiccup and not a trend. Early on, it looks like that could be the case.

Royce Young ESPN Staff Writer

Russell Westbrook picks up his fifth straight triple-double, and 10th of the season: 21-13-10 with two minutes left in the third quarter. This is the longest triple-double streak of Westbrook's career and longest since MJ had seven straight in 1989.

Sheil Kapadia ESPN Writer

The Seahawks' defense has now gone 11 straight possessions without allowing a point. Kam Chancellor is playing at a high level. He had a pass breakup on the Panthers' last third down. In the previous three games, Chancellor had 24 tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble.

Am told it was a coach's decision for the Panthers not to start Cam Newton. No injury involved.

Kevin Seifert NFL Nation

NFL teams are supposed to note all intended changes to the starting lineup prior to the game. It's not clear why Carolina QB Cam Newton didn't start, or if the reason is something the Panthers planned or came up shortly before kickoff. An official explanation should be forthcoming.
