How will Arena utilize USMNT prospects?

How will the new man in charge of the U.S. men's team approach the batch of talented young players differently than his predecessor?

Arsenal lead West Ham 1-0 at HT at London Stadium but could have had more with sharper passing in the final third. Disappointing showing from hosts so far but Arsenal must be worried about possible knee injury to Gabriel. Can't afford to lose another right back.

Oklahoma WR Dede Westbrook just bolstered his Heisman case with a nifty 69-yard touchdown reception. OU has 109 yards of offense... Westbrook has 107 of them. Sooners lead in Bedlam, 7-0.

Huge roar from the crowd. Tiger Woods chips in for a fourth birdie in five holes. Big smile from him after that one. (And oh, it looks like he's chipping a bit better.)

Bills TE Charles Clay did not travel Saturday with the team to Oakland because of the birth of his child. He was already listed as questionable for the game because of a knee injury, but this casts more doubt on his status. In case Clay can't play, the Bills called up TE Gerald Christian from their practice squad Saturday and waived kickoff specialist Jordan Gay.

Okay, it's early but Tiger Woods has birdied the first three holes at the Hero World Challenge. In case you are wondering, Woods' career low-round is 61, shot four times, the most recent during the second round of the 2013 Bridgestone Invitational -- which happens to be where he posted his 79th and last PGA Tour victory.

Can't birdie 'em all if you don't birdie the first three. Hat trick for Tiger Woods to kick off the round.

Malik Monk is a great defensive presence for Kentucky right now. Doing a great job of playing the passing lanes. On the turnover he just forced, he didn't even see the pass but he had his hands up and deflected it. So active. All from a guy who admits he didn't play a lot of defense in high school because he didn't have to.

Tiger Woods had a near-ace at the 12th hole yesterday. Just nearly jarred his tee shot on the second, too. Two holes, two birdies.

I'd say Tiger Woods iron game is still on point... inside 3' on the first for birdie and that's Tiger's tee shot at the par 3 second hole closer than Rickie Fowler. Of course as they walked to the green and saw their shots the needling began!

Tiger Woods said his best shot in yesterday's second round was his wedge approach into the first green. Well, he just started his third round and knocked the exact same shot even closer today.

Courtney Lee says his ankle sprain is improving and he hasn't ruled out returning to the lineup Sunday against the Kings. The big test will be if Lee can move well laterally today. "It feels a lot better than it did when I initially twisted it," Lee said Friday. "I wasn't able to walk that night but I was able to move around (Friday)." If Lee can't play Sunday, look for Justin Holiday to start in his place.

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin will not play for the Chiefs on Sunday against the Falcons in Atlanta. The Chiefs changed his status for Sunday's game to out. Maclin hasn't played since a Nov. 6 game against the Jacksonville jaguars because of a groin injury. He did return to practice as a limited participant this week. The Chiefs also downgraded the status of cornerback Phillip Gaines to questionable for Sunday's game.

As expected, Gabriel starts at right-back for Arsenal instead of out-of-form Jenkinson. Xhaka and Ox also back in starting lineup. Perhaps that's worrying news for Aaron Ramsey.
