Florida State now has two conference losses, essentially making the game between Louisville and Clemson tonight one that will determine control of the Atlantic Division. The loss also means the possibility of a three-way tiebreaker between Florida State, Clemson and Louisville is a moot point.

Florida State saw its nation-leading 22-game home winning streak end when North Carolina kicker Nick Weiler kicked a 54-yard field goal with no time left to give the Tar Heels a 37-35 win. Florida State erased an early 21-0 deficit to take the lead with 23 seconds left but a defense that has come under fire all season just couldn't hold the lead.

Oklahoma went on a 28-0 run -- all in the second quarter -- during which the Sooners outgained TCU 285-56 in yardage and averaged nearly 13 yards per play. Baker Mayfield was excellent during that run, too, until he suffered an apparent ankle injury and lost a fumble late in the quarter. TCU, down 35-24, needs a big response to start the second half.

West Virginia remains undefeated by coming back from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to beset Kansas State 17-16. The Mountaineers were 2-for-9 on third down and had only three points on their first three red zone trips but went 2-for-2 in the red zone in the fourth quarter to pull out the narrow victory. The Mountaineers score their first win over K-State since joining the Big 12 (now 1-4 vs. the Wildcats)

Michigan's Jourdan Lewis just made a spectacular one-handed interception to quite possibly seal the win against Wisconsin. Fitting, too, as the Wolverines' defense has saved the day in the face of some shaky offense and special teams work.

A 63-yard run by Terrell Newby makes it comfortable for Nebraska, which has extended its season-long fourth-quarter dominance today in moving closer to 5-0. The Huskers lead Illinois 31-16 and get a bye next week before visiting Indiana.

With the Dodgers losing to the Giants, the Nationals have clinched homefield advantage in the NLDS. That means they get to face Road Clayton Kershaw (2.28 ERA) instead of Home Clayton Kershaw (1.08). It also means that LA has to face Home Max Scherzer (2.23 ERA) instead Road Max Scherzer (3.28). Either way, should be an epic Game 1 match-up.
