It was previously reported that Vaccaro was facing a possible four-game suspension for testing positive for Adderall. That's a big blow for the 5-7 Saints, since Vaccaro has been playing some of the best football of his career. Veteran Roman Harper is a likely replacement as a third safety to supplement Jairus Byrd and rookie Vonn Bell.

Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against San Diego after missing the last two games with a concussion. This is the first Friday since Kuechly suffered the concussion in a Nov. 17 win against New Orleans that the three-time Pro Bowl selection hasn't been ruled out. He still has to pass the final test in the protocol. After practicing the last three days that appears to be a formality.
