Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
The Venue: Serving as the home field for the University of Southern California Trojans since opening its doors to Los Angeles in 1923, The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has held countless historic sporting events during nine decades of celebrated history. It is the only facility in the world to play host to two Olympiads (X and XXIII), two Super Bowls (I and VII) and one World Series (1959). Declared by the United States Government as a State and Federal Historical Landmark in 1984, the stadium is credited with helping start the migration of professional sports teams to the West Coast. The Dodgers, Rams, Raiders and Chargers at one time all called The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum home.

What: Moto X Freestyle will take center stage in the L.A. Memorial Coliseum and showcases the world's best freestyle motocross riders. Returning in its fourth year at X Games, the discipline of Moto X Super X (formerly Moto X Racing) will showcase the premier stadium motocross racers with disciplines in the Men's, Women's and Adaptive categories.
As the fastest event at the X Games, Rally Car Racing will move to its new home at The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in 2010. Rally Car SuperRally will make its debut flying through the peristyles and speeding around the track inside The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
BMX Freestyle Big Air, Skateboard Big Air and Skateboard Big Air Rail Jam will also be featured inside The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, using the massive ramp on which athletes will choose to launch over a gap of 50 or 70 feet and continue into a 27-foot quarterpipe.
The Venue: STAPLES Center, located in downtown Los Angeles, is the sports and entertainment center of the world, having hosted more than 1200 events and 20 million guests since opening on October 17, 1999. STAPLES Center is home to four professional sports franchises - the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks. STAPLES Center continues to distinguish itself as the host of major, high-profile events of national and international distinction, including the NBA All-Star Game, NHL All-Star Game, the Grammy Awards, the 2000 Democratic National Convention, Pac-10 Basketball Championships and the X Games.
STAPLES Center has also been marked with landmark performances and special events including concerts by U2, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake, Don Henley, Madonna, the Rolling Stones, Britney Spears, Prince, the Dave Matthews Band, Garth Brooks, the Eagles and many others.
Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, the four-million square-foot L.A. LIVE mixed-used development sits on 27 acres across more than six city blocks. Building off the tremendous success of STAPLES Center, L.A. LIVE has expanded the entertainment content in downtown Los Angeles' South Park neighborhood with complementing venues, fully functioning broadcast studios, restaurants, cafes, cinemas, bowling lanes, music clubs and a cultural museum.

What: Moto X Step Up will be held inside the STAPLES Center for a fourth consecutive year. Fan-favorites Moto X Best Trick and Moto X Best Whip will also be held inside the STAPLES Center. For the first time, Moto X Speed & Style will be held inside the STAPLES Center as the discipline makes its return to the X Games. STAPLES Center doors will open at 4 PM on Friday, July 30, and at 5 PM on Sunday, August 1.
The Venue: Anchoring the new L.A. Live entertainment district, Nokia Theatre (across the street from STAPLES Center) hosts nearly 120 events per year including the most popular music concerts and performances, awards shows, family shows, corporate showcases, product launches, speaker series and television broadcasts emanating from the largest stage in California.
Opening its doors on October 18, 2007 with six sold-out concerts featuring the Eagles and Dixie Chicks, the 71,000-seat venue offers guests mid-sized intimacy, with no seat further from the stage than 220 feet, exceptional comfort and amenities never before offered to guests at similar theatres.

What: For the first time ever, the stage of Nokia Theatre will be transformed into a platform for all the vert competitions, including Skateboard Vert Men's, Women's, Am's, Skateboard Vert Best Trick, as well as BMX Freestyle Vert competitions. The Nokia Theater will open at 1 PM on Friday.
Event Deck at L.A. LIVE
The Venue: The Event Deck at L.A. LIVE (across the street from STAPLES Center and next to Nokia Theatre) will once again serve as home of the X Games Street and Park competition courses for both BMX and Skateboard. As part of the new, one-of-a-kind entertainment district, L.A. LIVE will provide Los Angeles' residents, commuters, guests and tourists with a world-class sports and entertainment destination.

What: BMX Freestyle Park and Skateboard Park (men's and women's) will take place atop the Event Deck at L.A. LIVE. Park will feature a transition-focused design -- blending a variety of terrain and obstacles into one seamless course and highlighting the all-around abilities of the world's best transition BMX riders. BMX Freestyle Street will return to the Event Deck at L.A. LIVE and will follow the same template as X Games mainstay Skateboard Street, showcasing a course with raw street features such as stairs, rails and ledges. General Venue Information
-- All bags and persons entering the X Games venues are subject to be searched. All bags larger than 14" square, i.e. backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into any X Games venue.
--For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following items are not allowed at the X Games: large bags, weapons, alcohol, coolers, pets (unless it is a working animal, i.e. guide dog); folding chairs, large umbrellas, laser-lights, noisemakers, i.e. air-horns; glass bottles, aluminum cans or beverages in unsealed containers of any kind.
-- Guests may not bring any food or beverages into the venue. Exceptions are factory sealed plastic bottled water. Food or beverages deemed necessary due to a special dietary need, religious requirement or medical condition may be approved in advance by the Guest Services Department.
--Guest Services will not check-in any food or beverage items.
-- The X Fest at L.A. LIVE and the Sponsor Activation and Pits Area at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will be closed when capacity is reached.
-- Large posters and banners must be inspected by security before being allowed in the venue. X Games reserves the right to refuse admission of signage. Sticks or poles to hold flags/banners are not permitted.
-- Skateboard check will be located at the North West Corner of Nokia Plaza near the X Fest exit. Skatecheck for the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will be located at Gate 4 on the south side of the stadium. No skateboards, in-line skates, bikes, scooters or other sports equipment will be allowed inside any of the X Games venues. NOTE: All skatechecks and guest services booths will close at the same time as X Fests.
-- Bike parking for L.A. LIVE will be located at Lot 8, on the North East Corner of Figueroa and Chick Hearn. Bike parking for the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will be located on the North side of the Coliseum. Bikes will be left at the risk of the spectator.
-- Stroller parking is available at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE near the skateboard check at the X Fest exit as well as on Georgia Street across from the L.A. LIVE Event Deck. Strollers are not allowed in the seating sections inside of Staples Center however strollers may be checked into their Guest Link Service Center, located across from aisle M12 on the main concourse. Stroller parking for the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is located adjacent to the skateboard check on the exterior of the South East side of the venue on South Coliseum Drive near the Sponsor Activation and Pits Area. Please take all personal items and belongings out of your stroller when leaving it unattended at Stroller parking. Strollers will be left at the risk of the spectator.
-- Guests must wear shoes. No bare feet allowed.
-- The ESPN X Games is a Non-Smoking event. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.
-- Tailgating is not permitted in the parking lots.
-- X Games is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged goods. This includes checked items as well as strollers.
-- X Games reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time.
-- Guest Services booths are the designated meeting place if persons in your party are separated from your family or group.
-- ATM's at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum are located at Gates 8, 14, and 25.
--No commercial photography is allowed without a credential. Camcorders or any other audio/visual equipment is prohibited unless authorized by team/promoter or performer. Specifically the following equipment is not permitted: Lenses greater than three and one half inches in length, telephoto or zoom lenses of any kind, interchangeable lenses of any kind, monopods or tripods or flash equipment of any kind.
-- All existing facility policies may be enforced in addition to X Games venue policies.

Guest Services is the designated area for all event information and event services.The X Games Guest Services booth at L.A. LIVE is located in the Nokia Plaza, adjacent to the ESPN Zone and is accessible from inside and outside the venue. Inside STAPLES Center, Guest Services is located on the Main Concourse across from aisle M12 and Upper Concourse across from aisle U6. Inside Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE Guest Services is located in the Nokia Lounge Lobby. Guest Services at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum are located inside the stadium at Gate 23 and Gate 4, as well as on the exterior of the stadium on the South East side off of South Coliseum Drive, near the entrance to the to the Sponsor Activation and Pits Area. If you purchase a special tspicketing package please refer to your voucher for specific pick up locations.
