Design
- The Main Image should use photos or artwork to relate to content and are subject to editorial approval. This image cannot have a transparent background.
- Headline text must be 35 characters or less.
- Sub-headline text must be 100 characters or less.
Animation/Ad Behavior
- Clicking the ad unit will play the video within the ad space.
- Video playback is user-initiated on-click only.
Capping
No capping restrictions.
Video
- Only one video clip may be submitted.
- Raw assets of larger file size and dimensions outlined in the chart above may be submitted, but will be re-encoded by ESPN to meet specifications.
Submission Deadline
Please allow five business days for testing and approval.
Restrictions
This ad unit must be created in-house by ESPN.
HTTPS Compatibility
- All creative, including third-party tags and third-party tracking tags, must use secure protocol (HTTPS).
- Any creative that is not fully secure will be sent back for revisions.
