The results of the MRI on the left knee of safety Darius McClure were not available at the end of practice on Monday, and still no official word as of this morning. McClure, as many of you might remember, injured his knee while celebrating his first career interception on Saturday against Boston College.
This could make things difficult for the FSU secondary, which will be without safety Myron Rolle for a significant portion of Saturday's game at Maryland. Rolle will be interviewing for a Rhodes Scholarship, but will take a charter plane to BWI. Backup rover Roosevelt Lawson has played in all 10 games, and could start in place of Rolle. Jamie Robinson has three starts at safety and has played in all 10 games.
They're the most likely starters, it's the backups that are a question mark. Odds are defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews keeps his game plan for the secondary to himself this week.
