Bad news for the Tar Heels. UNC senior wide receiver Brooks Foster had arthroscopic knee surgery on Monday by Dr. Tim Taft at UNC Hospitals. He injured his knee in the NC State game and is expected to make a full recovery. Foster will spend the next several weeks rehabilitating in preparation for a bowl game, but his playing status for it is undetermined.

Foster is Carolina's second-leading receiver with 30 catches for 334 yards and two touchdowns. He also has eight rushes for 104 yards.
