ACC's Top 25 player countdown: No. 10

No. 10. Anthony Castonzo, OT, Boston College

2009 numbers: He gave up only one sack in 650 snaps and consistently graded out the highest in the unit. He was BC’s most productive lineman in seven of the 13 games in terms of knockdowns, cuts and assignments.

Last ranking: No. 23

Making the case for Castonzo: He’s an extremely smart player who only missed nine assignments in 13 games. He was nominated for a Rhodes Scholarship entering his senior year, and hopes to one day conduct cancer research -- using the money he's earned in the NFL. In the past two years, he has only given up two sacks. He has started a total of 41 games in his career, and will anchor a unit that returns four starters and should pave the way for one of the nation’s top rushers in Montel Harris, a.k.a No. 20.
