Miami defense snags a big interception

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- I was in the middle of writing about how Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder was playing better than Jacory Harris when Ponder threw an interception just outside the end zone.

Until that point, he had been much more efficient than Harris, but most fans would probably be surprised to hear that Ponder threw the first interception of this game. That was just the kind of play Miami needed to give the Canes some confidence. We'll see if the offense can make something out of the opportunity.
