Can the ACC follow the script?

The upset has already happened.

NC State beat No. 16 Florida State, 28-24, on Thursday night. Can the rest of the ACC follow the script Saturday?

Miami, North Carolina, Navy and Clemson should all be favored to win their respective games Saturday. Virginia and Boston College are still searching for their first conference wins, and Duke's defense struggled against a similar offense in a loss to Army. The Tar Heels should be able to avoid an embarrassing loss to William & Mary, but it's not like the Tribe hasn't knocked off the ACC before (See: 2009 versus Virginia).

The one team that could potential derail a contender's hopes is Wake Forest, which has won its past four games when coming off a bye week. The Deacs are on the road, though, and Maryland has the better of the two defenses.

There shouldn't be any surprises Saturday, but that doesn't mean there won't be a few scares. After all, it is Halloween. And this is the ACC.
