It's Senior Day in Chestnut Hill, but it's the younger players who are stealing the show. BC freshman quarterback Chase Retting threw a 39-yard touchdown pass to true freshman receiver Alex Amidon to tie the game at 10 with 1:21 left to play. For Virginia, freshman quarterback Michael Rocco has completed all four of his passes for 23 yards, but Perry Jones has scored the only touchdown for the Hoos.
Both fan bases have already seen reasons to be excited about the flashes of future potential they've seen, but this season isn't over yet. Virginia is doing its best to spoil BC's bowl hopes in the Eagles' final home game of the season. The Cavaliers would be a lot more successful, though, if they put a halt to their trend of penalties. So far they've got five, but there's still a whole half left to play.
