Boston College and Nevada have never met prior to the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. It should be one of the more interesting matchups of the bowls ACC teams were involved in. There's no question BC is going to have to score in this game if it's going to win. Nevada has the No. 5 scoring offense in the country at 42.62 points per game. According to ESPN's Stats & Info, the Eagles are 8-0 in bowl games when they score 15 or more points since 2000.
The defense, though, will be the key. BC has allowed just one 100-yard rusher the past two seasons and only eight since 2005. The matchup between Boston College’s run defense and Nevada’s run offense is a meeting of two of the country’s best units, as the chart from Stats & Info shows.
