Halftime: Miami 14, Bethune-Cookman 7

You know it's bad when Miami exhales because Bethune-Cookman misses a field goal.

The Canes got off to an embarrassing start and trailed 7-0 to the MEAC team. They've only had 19 rushing yards, they've had six penalties, and the defense has been kind.

This is not the kind of start Miami needed following its loss to Kansas State. The Canes needed to come out, set the tone, and flat-out dominate this game. Instead, Miami is once again opening the door for doubt -- doubt about how good this team is, which direction it's headed, and how much it even wants to win this fall. I don't doubt Miami will still win this game, but it shouldn't even be close. And right now, it is.
