Frank Spaziani, Boston College — $1,079,410

Makes no cents: Randy Edsall. Maryland's athletic department is so broke it is reportedly considering cutting eight sports, yet the Terps are dishing out the fifth-highest salary in the ACC for a two-win team.
Priceless: Frank Beamer. Eighteen consecutive bowl appearances, four ACC titles, four ACC Coastal Division crowns, three Big East conference titles, two “major” bowl victories and a trip to the national championship game. Priceless.
As good as gold: Jim Grobe. What 3-9 season? The man is practically tenured at Wake Forest, as he should be.
Penny for your thoughts: What is Al Golden really thinking? With possible NCAA sanctions looming over the Miami program, how many discussions will center around his contract this offseason?
Show me the money: Dabo Swinney. Two Atlantic Division titles in three years and an offensive coordinator he can't afford to lose.
Sweeten the pot: Mike London. Virginia is bowl-eligible for the first time since 2007. In contention for the Coastal Division title in his second season. London is ahead of schedule.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you: Everett Withers. That contract is on a clock.
Laughing all the way to the bank: Jimbo Fisher. Two years as a head coach and already in the same company as Mack Brown, Nick Saban, Bob Stoops and Les Miles, who are also ranked among the top 15 highest-paid coaches in the country.
