Defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. has switched his commitment from Florida State to Florida, and he spoke with ESPN's Derek Tyson about the decision. Fowler said he felt he could contribute more and get on the field faster as a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker in Florida's system, and he liked the fact that coach Will Muschamp is a defensive-minded coach.
Fowler was ranked the No. 10 DE in the country by ESPN RecruitingNation and the No. 71 player overall in the ESPNU 150.
