Clemson starting offensive guard Barry Humphries suffered a knee injury against Alabama and will miss at least Saturday's game against The Citadel. Humphries suffered the injury in the first half, his 19th play of the game. He will have surgery this week and his status will be determined after that.

As a result, freshman Mason Cloy will move into the starting lineup at right guard. Cloy played 23 snaps against Alabama.

Clemson starting defensive end Ricky Sapp suffered a bruised knee against Alabama and is questionable for Saturday's game.

Wide receiver Terrence Ashe sprained his foot and is also questionable. Wide receiver Jacoby Ford, who was shaken up during the game after a jarring hit, is probable.
