Virginia Tech controls clock, Nebraska

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Virginia Tech completely controlled the clock in the first quarter with a possession time of 11:44 to Nebraska's 3:16. Nebraska had zero yards of total offense on just six plays. The Hokies' defense is making life very difficult for Nebraska quarterback Zac Lee. It's still early, but if both of these teams keep this up, it's going to be a defensive game that could be decided by special teams. So far, that's what has Nebraska on the board, as the Huskers trail 7-6 in the second quarter with two field goals.
