North Carolina long-snapper Trevor Stuart will miss the rest of the season after tearing the ACL in his left knee in the first half of the Tar Heels' 31-17 win over East Carolina.

Stuart became the long-snapper during the middle of the 2008 season. Mark House, a walk-on from Wilmington, N.C, came in for Stuart in the ECU game. House was Carolina’s long-snapper for six games in 2008 before fracturing a finger.
