Clemson is going to need some help to get back to the ACC title game, but the Tigers aren't out of it yet. Colleague Andrea Adelson wrote a piece about how it's still too early to write off the defending ACC champs. An excerpt:
For Clemson to have any hopes of getting back to the ACC title game, it needs to win out while Florida State starts losing. That might seem unlikely right now, given the way the Noles played last week, but stranger things have happened in this league.
Such as Virginia Tech's at-large BCS bid a year ago.
If the Hokies were able to do it in 2011, it's not unreasonable to think Clemson might be able to in 2012. That is, of course, if the Tigers keep winning.
