Duke QB Renfree 'probable' for VT game

Duke quarterback Sean Renfree will be listed as "probable" on today's injury report, according to a tweet from Duke football Coach Cutcliffe:

Renfree suffered an elbow injury in the third quarter of Duke's win over Wake Forest and didn't play last weekend in the win over Virginia. Renfree has practiced this week, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Backup Anthony Boone played remarkably well in his first career start last weekend against UVa. He completed 18 of 31 passes for 212 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 41 yards on seven attempts. Boone tied the school record for touchdown passes by a quarterback in his first career start (Dave Brown vs. Wake Forest in 1989).

The Observer reported that even if Renfree is healthy enough to start, Boone will likely play.
