CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Virginia coach Al Groh isn't one to gush over players, but he comes close to it when he talks about Vic Hall. Had Hall not gotten injured earlier in the season, the battle at quarterback might have been extended. But Jameel Sewell used that time to assert himself as the leader of the offense, and since Hall's return, he's proved to be one of their best offensive options. Virginia had a lot of turnover heading into this season, and seems to still be in search of the consistent receivers, but the Sewell-Hall connection is one of the reasons they entered this game with the Coastal Division lead, and one of the reasons they're still in this game.
