Tennessee and Virginia Tech have agreed to play a football game in 2016 at Bristol Motor Speedway, according to a report from ESPN's Joe Schad.
Virginia Tech's 2016 schedule already includes September matchups against Liberty, East Carolina and Notre Dame. Virginia Tech and Tennessee haven't played since 2009, a 37-14 Hokies win in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. It sounds like it could be a great venue, with possibly 160,000 in attendance. Yet another example of how nobody lines up against the SEC more than the ACC.
