Just saw this on Virginia Tech's Web site this morning:

Starting rover Davon Morgan suffered a torn ACL of his right knee Saturday night against Nebraska and is out for the rest of the season. Morgan had started all five games. According to head athletic trainer Mike Goforth, surgery is pending.

Morgan, a sophomore who moved from free safety in the spring, had 18 tackles this season, one fumble recovery and one quarterback hurry.
