Four of the ACC's starting centers are on the 2011 Rimington Trophy watch list for the award given to the nation's top center. Clemson's Dalton Freeman, North Carolina's Cam Holland, Miami's Tyler Horn, and Duke's Brian Moore were among the 42 players listed.
The biggest surprise is Duke's Moore -- not because he's not deserving of the consideration, but because he only moved to the center position this spring. He started the past two seasons at right guard and this spring moved to center to replace three-year starter Bryan Morgan. Moore, a redshirt junior, is talented enough to be an upgrade at the position and his position change was one of the highlights of Duke's spring practices.
