Virginia Tech starting cornerback Brandon Facyson will miss the rest of spring practice with a lower leg injury, trainer Mike Goforth announced in a statement Friday.
Facyson has a left tibia stress reaction and will be placed in a boot as a precaution. His leg has been bothering him since last fall, so the coaches and training staff felt it was best to give him rest now. He is expected to make a full return for summer workouts.
Without the Freshman All-American, expect more reps for Donovan Riley and Der'Woun Greene this spring.
