Duke's first two home games against Richmond and N.C. Central will begin at 7 p.m. at Wallace Wade Stadium, the school announced on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils will face Richmond in the season-opener on September 5 and, following road trips to play Army and Kansas, host N.C. Central for Homecoming on September 26.
"We had terrific responses to our night games a year ago," coach David Cutcliffe said in a prepared statement. "The support from our alumni, fans and students has been great and we are very appreciative, but it can grow to another level. It is our goal to have the best college football atmosphere possible in Wallace Wade Stadium."
Speaking of Duke, three Blue Devils have taken on independent study projects, including the study of gang activity, and high school and middle school dropout rates.
Greg Akinbiyi, Vince Oghobaase and Marvin Marcelin managed to juggle it with their football responsibilities.
