ESPN analyst Herm Edwards doesn't definitively say the New York Jets are Super Bowl bound, but he comes close.
Edwards, the former Jets head coach, recently predicted their record in a video segment for ESPNNewYork.com.
"I'm thinking right now, when I look at the Jets," Edwards said, "I look at their schedule. I know they're excited about their defense. They're excited about [Mark] Sanchez and all those new weapons they have on offense. But the reality is this: I see the New York Jets, when you really look at them, they're a 12-4 football team.
"I think that's going to be good enough to win their division and also host the AFC Championship game at home. If they can do that, then they're well on their way down to Dallas to play in that big Super Bowl."
