AccuScore forecasts Pats over Jets by five

Jenny Dell of "Countdown Daily" delivers the AccuScore report for Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and New York Jets at the Meadowlands.

For those unfamiliar with AccuScore, it's a respected tool for forecasting the outcome of games through computerized simulations that generate statistical probabilities.

AccuScore went 12-4 on opening weekend.

After running 10,000 simulations, AccuScore predicts a quiet afternoon for Patriots receiver Randy Moss against Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis, but likes Wes Welker and Brandon Tate against Antonio Cromartie and Kyle Wilson.

The forecast has Patriots quarterback Tom Brady completing 60 percent of his passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns.

If the Jets can sack Brady four times and Mark Sanchez can throw for 175 yards, then AccuScore calculates they'll have a 61 percent chance of winning.

But the Patriots have a 64 percent likelihood of winning by five points.
