Bills NFLPA rep on Vick: 'I'd love to have him'

PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Now that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has announced the conditions of Michael Vick's reinstatement, teams know the plan if they want to sign the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback.

Buffalo Bills safety George Wilson, the team's NFL Players Association representative, told reporters Monday he would be thrilled to have Vick as a teammate.

"Who wouldn't want Mike Vick to be on their team?" Wilson said shortly before Goodell's announcement.

"He's a game-breaker. He can make a lot of plays, and he would just be another weapon in our arsenal if he is brought to Buffalo. I don't know what any of the speculation may be, but I'd love to have him as a teammate."

A Bills source told me this spring they would have zero interest in Vick.

But that was a few months ago, and I think it's safe to say there will be some surprises as this controversial story develops.
