Buffalo Bills

  • Gaughan notes that the team's top draft pick, Aaron Maybin, "became the first Bills draft pick of the salary cap era -- since 1993 -- to miss the entire camp due to a contract stalemate."

Miami Dolphins

  • Eric Green, a free-agent signee this offseason and a starting cornerback a few weeks ago, was cut on Wednesday.

  • The South Florida Sun-Sentinel's Sarah Talalay reports that tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams are close to an agreement to partner with the Dolphins. The nature of the relationship is not yet clear.
