Here is the final injury report for Week 8 in the AFC East:
Doubtful: CB Vontae Davis (hamstring)
Out: CB Prince Amukamara (foot)
Doubtful: FB Henry Hynoski (neck)
Analysis: Davis has been in and out of the lineup all season for Miami with a bad hamstring. The Dolphins would have like to have had him in the lineup to try to defend dynamic Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks. Thomas is questionable again but there's a good chance he will play for the second straight week. The Giants are in good health coming off the bye. This probably is as healthy as New York has been all season. That's not good if you're the Miami Dolphins.
Probable: LB Chris Kelsay (calf)
Analysis: The bye week didn't help Buffalo's offensive line. Guard Andy Levitre will move to left tackle out of necessity and will face a stern test in Washington outside linebacker Brian Orakpo. It is good news, however, that Kelsay returns. He comes back the same week that fellow outside linebacker Shawne Merriman was put on injured reserve lost for the season. Washington has a lot of key players hurting as well.
Out: LB Dane Fletcher (thumb)
Doubtful: CB Ras-I Dowling (hip)
Analysis: The Patriots have been waiting on Dowling to return, especially now with the sudden release of corner Leigh Bodden. But that won't happen this week. Mayo's potential return would be huge for this defense. He is one of the few impact players New England has on that side of the football. Haynesworth also is expected to play. Both players will help in this physical game against Pittsburgh.
