Tim Tebow's contract delayed again

Tim Tebow-mania will have to wait another day or so for the New York Jets.

In what has become the most difficult NFL trade in recent memory, ESPN's Ed Werder reports Tebow has to sign a re-written contract with the Denver Broncos Friday and cannot become a Jet until Saturday at 4 p.m.

It's a minor technicality that is delaying the inevitable. Tebow will join New York this weekend but has to wait for the trade to be processed. The Broncos and Jets agreed to split the $5 million it took to complete the Tebow trade, which forced a snag on Wednesday. It turns out Tebow has yet to put pen to paper on the revised agreement.
