ESPN's Adam Schefter was asked about Miami's draft plan in his latest mailbag and he agrees.
"At this time, Kyle, it looks like the best course of action for the Dolphins is to sit tight and hope Tannehill falls to them at No. 8. My sense is that Cleveland will not take Tannehill at No. 4. So unless a team like Buffalo, Kansas City or Seattle is willing to trade up, Tannehill could slide to Miami. However, if it costs the Dolphins only a midround pick to move up a spot or two to ensure they get Tannehill -- assuming they really like him -- they should not bypass that opportunity. But this much is true, Kyle: There's a lot of pressure on Miami to perform really well in this draft after so many disappointments in recent seasons."
It's hard to find a mock draft that doesn't have Tannehill to Miami. The only exceptions could be the Cleveland Browns at No. 4 or another team willing to trade up. But I agree with Schefter that by no means should Miami trade multiple draft picks to move up and get Tannehill. He is not a must-have quarterback, but is definitely a strong consideration at No. 8.
