Poll: AFC East Player of the Week

The AFC East went 2-1 in Week 8. The New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins cruised to easy victories over the St. Louis Rams and New York Jets, respectively.

There were several great performances in the division. So who is this week’s AFC East Player of the Week?

Is it Patriots quarterback Tom Brady? Brady was terrific again with 304 yards and four touchdowns. He put on a near-perfect performance in New England against the Rams.

What about Brady’s teammate Rob Gronkowski? The Pro Bowl tight end was Brady’s favorite target. Gronkowski caught eight passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns.

Or was it Dolphins safety Chris Clemons? The Dolphins had a great team effort. But Clemons led the team with nine tackles and had an interception of Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.

Finally, we have Clyde Gates for the Jets. He was one of the few players who showed up for New York. Gates games to play against his former team, recording seven receptions for 82 yards.
