In July, the AFC East blog highlighted several players who needed big seasons to avoid the “bust” label.
Updated Bust Watch: LB Koa Misi
Pick: Second round, 2010
Analysis: Misi has done well for himself in a big third year. He ran into some offseason trouble and plead guilty. So he's not completely out of the woods off the field. But on the field, Misi is a solid contributor to Miami’s third-ranked run defense. Misi has 27 tackles and 1.5 sacks. It’s not spectacular, but it's not a bust year, either. Although Misi will never live down the fact he was taken two spots ahead of rival New England Patriots Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski, Misi doing a decent job this year makes that missed pick by Miami a little more forgettable.
