Morning take: Bill Belichick and Tom Brady

Here are the most interesting stories Saturday in the AFC East:

  • For the New England Patriots, this is quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick's 10th time together in the playoffs.

Morning take: No team has this level of elite coaching and elite quarterbacking on the same team. That is why the Patriots have as good a shot as anyone to win the Super Bowl.

Morning take: This year has another strong class that includes potential first-ballot players like left tackle Jonathan Ogden and defensive end Michael Strahan. Reed continues to get close, but every year that passes makes it more difficult to make the cut.

Morning take: Jackson is a good coach who gets the most out of his players. The Jets need those qualities in their next offensive coordinator because of their lack of talent on that side of the football.

Morning take: Ross has been the owner since 2009, but the old regime of Bill Parcells and Tony Sparano ran the Dolphins. Now that both are out, Ross is starting to put more of a print on the Dolphins.
