Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC East:
The New England Patriots will start Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski (back, arm) on the physically unable to perform list heading into training camp.
Morning take: This is no surprise, consider the multiple surgeries Gronkowski's had this offseason. The only focus for Gronkowski should be to get him ready for Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.
The New York Jets worked out Robinson and free agent Austin Collie.
Morning take: The Jets need pass-catchers on offense, especially if Santonio Holmes isn’t ready for Week 1. It won’t matter who the quarterback will be if the receivers cannot get open.
Can the Miami Dolphins survive their early-season schedule?
Morning take: Miami’s first five games are brutal. But a Week 1 game at Cleveland is set up to provide a good start. If the Dolphins can’t win that game, it doesn’t look good for the rest of the year.
Will the Bills’ offense score enough points to contend?
Morning take: It all comes down to the quarterback play, which could be inconsistent. Kevin Kolb has never put it all together for a full season and rookie E.J. Manuel still has a lot to learn at the pro level.
